The Team at Budemeadows

Budemeadows is a Cornish campsite  owned and operated by Amanda & Andy Martin and Jeannine & Pete Murphy.Andy, Mandy, Pete and Jeannine welcome you to Budemeadows Both families live on site and are on hand to assist you during your stay.
We are helped on site by our younger family members Emily and Rosie and by our staff Sam and John who work hard to maintain the site for your enjoyment.
Both families have always enjoyed camping holidays themselves and have holidayed in a variety of tents, caravans, trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes in their time, although we now find our opportunities for a night under canvas somewhat limited.
We did the 'lifestyle change thing', moved from Surrey/Middlesex and settled in glorious Cornwall in 2007 to run Budemeadows Touring Park and have never looked back.  Whilst none of us had direct experience in the leisure industry before, our previous existences equipped us with a range of skills which have come in useful and we've been able to use our own camping experiences to shape the way we run Budemeadows.   We are always looking for ways to improve and develop the site: our main guide in everything we do is to ask ourselves the question "Would we want to stay here?", with "are the toilets and showers clean?" high on our checklist for answering the question.
We have found Bude to be a quiet restful seaside resort in the winter.  In the summer it comes alive with holiday makers but remains comparitively unspoilt and doesn't suffer from the binge drinking reputation of some resorts further west.
If you are looking for something to do then please come and ask us.  We have information on the normal tourist attractions and we all have our own interests be it Scottish or line dancing, squash, needlecraft, walking, fishing, darts or the just best place for a pint of well kept ale (other than Grumpy Pete's of course).
The other members of the team to watch out for are our 4 cats Mohawk, Cree, Poppy and Hovis all of whom will be pleased to welcome you their campsite (as with all cats, they let us live here).

The sandy beaches around our Cornish Touring Park are great for a family day out
