Christmas and New Year at Budemeadows
We are open
365 days a year which means that,
if you need a quiet
bolt hole over the Christmas Holidays, Budemeadows may be your ideal
choice. Bude and the surrounding villages will be yours to
explore and the beaches and coastal pathways uncrowded (the ever
present surfers excepted). On Christmas Day Bude's Crooklets beach is host to the largest swimming event in the South West. The Mike Moyle Memorial Christmas swim attracts more than 500 swimmers and 4 times that number of spectators - well it is a non-wetsuit event!
For those of you who can't fit a turkey into their caravan oven many of the local restaurants and pubs serve Christmas Dinners, details can be found on the VisitBude Website and we have copies of menus for local pubs and restaurants in our reception area.
During the winter months our site stays quiet, we have just 30 hard-standing pitches so we are never crowded, there being little demand for grass pitches in the winter months. Although our bar and shop are closed we do keep a stock of basic non-perishable groceries and keep a supply of milk on hand.
Christmas Prices
Hard Standing and Premier Pitches still available for Christmas and
New Year
